We
are a vibrant Christian Church which exists to give glory to God in
Jesus Christ. We see ourselves as a center for Christian renewal in the
lives of individuals, families and the congregations. We believe our
vision compliments our mission, it mandates us the opportunity to be
that newness the loss so desperately need. Jesus Christ demands of us
to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world, at St. Mark we
view this as we are called to be the antiseptic cleansing agents that
kill the bacteria of sin while illuminating the path for continual
healthy spiritual living.

Our mission fulfilled
This
mission is fulfilled every time the Church doors are opened, and the elect say
yes to God’s will through the (Expository preaching and teaching of God’s Word
to His People) that they are not only hearers of His Word but also doers and
their belief and behavior are one. At OE Williams Ministries we call this the
Social Gospel, this is where we actively engage among hurting people, the lost,
the needy, the down trodden and the back sliding giving them an opportunity to
heal, hear be comforted and see the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Dear Member, welcome
I greet you in the name of our faithful Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Allow me to take a minute to thank you for all of your wonderful support
to me my family and this ministry. I pray always that God will continue
to richly reward you for your faithfulness to His house. I want to lay
out my vision for this ministry as the Lord continuously reveals it to
me.
We are committed to:
- Worship as a dynamic experience of the presence of God through Word, Music and Christian community;
- Welcome everyone to meet Jesus Christ no matter where they are on their spiritual journey of life;
- Enabling individuals, couples and families to discover the power of the Holy Spirit through faith in real life;
- To see growth as the opportunity to increase each person's
confidence and joy in Jesus Christ through prayer, Bible study and
through active service in our church, community and the world.

The Social Gospel
“Isaiah
61:1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has
anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal
the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening
of the prison to those who are bound”. This is the social gospel, too:
Take the Gospel beyond the walls of the Church
Rightly divide the word of truth to anyone who ask
Support the ministry through faithful tithes and offering
Feed the hungry
Cloth the naked
Visit the sick and incarcerated
Educate the children
Matthew
16: 18 and 19 says “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on
this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not
prevail against it. And I will give you the keys to the kingdom of
heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and
whatever you loose on the earth will be loosed in heaven.” This is the
social gospel.
Matthew 28: 18 to 20 says “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on the earth. Go
therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to
observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you
always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. This is the social gospel.
More vision with oe Williams ministry
The Church and Pastors
Christ gave His church some wonderful gifts like Pastor/teachers,
Deacons, Evangelist and Administrators. These are followed by wonderful
support ministries of men and women, pastor’s aid, nurses, helps, food
pantries and many more. All of which are Filled with inspired people who
love the Lord and desire to exercise their Gifts in HIS church, with
these gifts we will accomplish His goal in His vineyard. To establish
and announce to the community that this is the Lords House, a house of
prayer for all people and we are here to do His will to create a
wonderful sanctuary for His people. To feed those who hunger and thirst
after righteous, clothe the naked, visit the sick, comfort those who
mourn and be that salt of the earth and light of the community to a lost
generation and people. To promote a social gospel a gospel of word and
of deed in our community to proclaim to a dying world that Jesus saves
to utmost.
We will fortify our infrastructure while beautifying our facility,
bringing our building up to City code standards with repairs to our
basement, second floor, third floor and main stair case. Install new
air-condition units on the second and third floors, upgrade our computer
and network technology, reevaluate and redistribute our space
allocation, change the carpets in the fellowship hall and the sanctuary,
paint the outside and inside of the Church.
Outreach, Media, and Education
As Gods representative in the community we must let our light so shine
by establishing a volunteer food and clothing pantry, so we can
distribute non perishable groceries to the hungry every week or as
needed, along with quarterly clothing drives to be given to the
community or other chartable organizations.
The creation of our tape and CD/DVD Ministry that will be aired on our very own and operated web site……
Our Christian Education ministry will be second to none, offering
courses from new beginner’s classes to leadership courses. Developing
and distributing our own Sunday school quarterly as well as a Bible
school. We will provide in-depth work shops on leadership, Deacon
Ministry, Missionary Ministry, outreach, Evangelism and Chaplin
training.
Youth Ministry and Evangelism
Through our Youth Ministry we will establish a scholarship fund that
will help the Youth as they prepare to enter institutions of higher
learning……
Through our Evangelism and Missionary ministries we will establish an
annual health fair day, to offer a variety of health screenings and test
including back to school flu shots and voter registration drives…….
Beloved these are just a few things that our Lord has shown me as part
of our future. He also said that too get these things accomplished, we
must be obedient to the vision and the visionary. Each one of us must
purpose in our hearts where we best fit in this vision and what the Lord
has truly laid in your heart as you’re very own personnel contribution
to the kingdom of God. We have already taken some small steps towards
our destination let us not stop now, let us not get weary in this good
work that the Lord has commanded us to do. Beloved always remember that
the race was not given to the swift nor the strong but to them that
endure to the end. I pray that our Lord bless you that He lift up His
countenance upon you and that his grace and mercy follow you all the
days of your life.
